BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — Two Bridgehampton students had the experience of a lifetime when they played their tubas under the famed Rockefeller Christmas tree Sunday.

The Bridgehampton School District was represented at the 49th annual TubaChristmas: Seventh grader Yaredci Chavez and eighth grader Summer Lillie were accompanied by music teacher David Elliott at the event, the district said.

The students joined hundreds of other students, amateur and professional tuba and baritone musicians from across the country to play classic holiday songs.
