Brooklyn Chop House Coming To Southampton For Season

The Hamptons' seasonal location will complement Brooklyn Chop House's flagship in FiDi, serving signature steaks and Asian fare.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A popular New York City eatery will be making a seasonal appearance in Southampton this summer.

The Brooklyn Chop House Southampton, to be located at The Capri Hotel, 281 County Road 39A in Southampton, will be open Thursday, May 23 through Monday, September 2.

The Hamptons seasonal summertime location "will complement Brooklyn Chop House’s flagship in FiDi by offering guests a vacation destination to dine in serving steaks alongside Asian fare like Peking Duck and a variety of unique dumplings," according to a release.

The eatery is owned by Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins, Dave Thomas and Stratis Morfogen.

DJs will spin in the restaurant’s lounge on Friday and Saturday nights in addition to Sunday during Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends.

Brooklyn Chop House Southampton will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, with poolside lunch options including Chicken, Beef, Shrimp and Lobster Satay, Chicken Lettuce Wraps and an 8-oz. Pat LaFrieda Double Hamburger.

Entrées include 30 to 35 Day Dry Aged Prime Steaks such as an 18-oz. NY Strip, 24-oz. Bone In Rib Eye, Grilled 18-oz. Filet Mignon, 32-oz. Bone In Tomahawk and 48-oz. Porterhouse for 2, a 7-lb. Long Island Peking Duck, Wakefield Alaskan King Crab Legs for two with garlic, scallions and ginger and a 4-lb. Salt & Pepper or Garlic and Ginger Lobster for two. Dumplings in varieties including French Soup, Gyro, Pastrami and Bacon Cheeseburger Shumai will also be available Wednesday through Sunday.

Brooklyn Chop House's Summer Breeze cocktail menu will include fresh squeezed juices and local fresh vegetables. Drinks will include The East End Cooler, made with fresh watermelon, pineapple, apple, St. Germain, Grey Goose Vodka and fresh local basil. The Local Spritz will feature fresh beet juice, Mumm Napa Sparkling Wine and fresh locally-sourced ginger. The restaurant will also offer wines by the glass and bottle, in addition to a selection of craft beers.

The restaurant will feature three event spaces.

Breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.; poolside lunch, from 11:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., and dinner on Wednesday and Thursday in May and June, from 5 p.m. until midnight, on Fridays from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m., on Saturdays from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m., and on Sunday from 5 p.m. until midnight.

Dinner service will begin on Tuesdays in July and August at 5 p.m., with poolside brunch served on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
