The Commission on Veterans Patriotic Events will be hosting a Memorial Day Service on MONDAY, MAY 25th at 11:00 in Agawam Park.Before the service, a short parade will proceed from the First Presbyterian church, down Jobs Lane, into the park.&nbsp; All veterans are invited to participate and asked to be at the church parking lot by 10:30.&nbsp; Cars will be available for those who cannot march.The Guest Speaker is Paul Eglevsky, retired First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps who served in Vietnam.

ReWild Long Island is accepting applications for its 2026 Summer Environmental Internship in East Hampton, Amagansett, Montauk and Sag Harbor. Open to students in grades 8–12.
Interns grow organic food for local pantries, protect native pollinators, farm oysters, compost, and build real teamwork and leadership skills. They work alongside experienced environmentalists and leave knowing they made a genuine contribution to their community.
Flexible hours. Community service credit. Stipend.
