Robert Drew's 1960 film PRIMARY is a pioneering work in the documentary movement that came to be known as cinéma vérité. PRIMARY follows the young charismatic senator from Massachusetts, John F. Kennedy, as he goes head-to-head with established Minnesota senator Hubert Humphrey to win the Wisconsin presidential primary in April 1960.
Robert Leacock is the Director/Cinematographer of numerous films &amp; commercials including directing Christy Turlington’s CATWALK &amp; filming Madonna’s TRUTH OR DARE &amp; Al Pacino’s LOOKING FOR RICHARD.
He has filmed celebrities, such as Diana Ross &amp; Muhammad Ali, as well as directing commercials for MICROSOFT &amp; NIKE.
Robert Leacock is the son of Richard Leacock, who was one of the principal filmmakers of PRIMARY along with D.A Pennebaker &amp; Albert Maysles

Originally formed in 2003 by Joe Refano, (formerly of Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone and Micky Dolenz’ Monkees Band), The Liverpool Shuffle brings together veterans of the New York music scene with a combined 200 years of musical experience between them and was recently inducted into the Legends of Long Island Music.&nbsp; They are all avowed Beatlemaniacs and it shows! The Liverpool Shuffle provides a fun and entertaining Beatles show with a real emphasis on playing the music the way the Beatles did! Registration required.

Join East End Jazz and the Southampton History Museum for a special evening of music honoring America's 250th anniversary. On Thursday, July 16, experience The Heart of America: Songs of Our Roots, an inspiring concert that explores the sounds that have shaped the American experience for generations.

Set against the historic backdrop of the Rogers Mansion grounds, this unique performance journeys through the rich traditions of Blues, Gospel, Hymns, and Country music, the musical foundations that continue to influence American culture today. Through imaginative jazz arrangements, these timeless songs are reimagined with fresh energy while preserving the stories and spirit that have resonated across generations.

Under the direction of acclaimed bassist and arranger Iris Ornig, East End Jazz presents a stellar quartet featuring Tomas Majcherski on tenor saxophone, clarinet, and flute; Alex Frondelli on guitar; Iris Ornig on bass; and Jon Mele on drums. Together, they will perform jazz-infused interpretations of beloved American classics including Oh, Susanna, Just a Closer Walk with Thee, When Johnny Comes Marching Home, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, Michael, Row the Boat Ashore, and more.
