Driver Arrested, Charged With DWI, After Fleeing Scene Of Riverside Crash: Police

He was arrested Saturday, police say.

RIVERSIDE, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested after fleeing the scene of a Riverside crash Saturday, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, the two-vehicle crash took place at 5:57 p.m. near Flanders Road and County Road 105, where one of the drivers fled the scene.

Upon the arrival of officers and a search of the area, the vehicle that fled the scene was located, police said.

Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, Antonio Cubulesian, 46, operated his vehicle while in an intoxicated condition, police said.

Cubulesian was arrested and transported to Southampton Town police headquarters, where he was held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town court, police said

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and leaving the scene of a crash, police said.
