Driver's Seat Restaurant Reopens

Southampton Village mainstay closed months ago for renovations

The Driver's Seat, a longtime Southampton Village favorite on Jobs Lane, recently welcomed back regulars after being closed for months to undergo a facelift.

The restaurant and bar has been owned by the Herzog family since 2005, though it has been there for more than 50 years.

In addition to the freshened up inside, The Driver's Seat also has a patio seating area and outdoor bar.

The restaurant is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sundays. Reservations are available by calling 631-283-6606.
