Drugged Driving Charge For Woman After Crash: Cops

The crash took place on Sunrise Highway Sunday, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — An East Patchogue woman was arrested and charged with driving on drugs after a crash in Southampton, police said.

According to New York State Police, Kaitlin M. Malloy, 28, was arrested on Sunday and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after the crash on Sunrise Highway.

Malloy was transported to New York State Police Barracks Riverside where provided a blood sample, police said.
