Drunk Driver Nabbed in Southampton: Police
The Southampton man was arrested Friday, police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was nabbed for drunk driving on County Road 39 Friday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Brett E. Sanders, 44, was arrested Friday at 7:09 p.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, police said.
He was stopped for traffic infraction and subsequent investigation indicated he was operating his vehicle while intoxicated, police said. He was arrested at the scene, transported to police headquarters for processing, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
