East Hampton Man Charged With Speeding, DWI Near School: Police
The man was charged with speeding while intoxicated near the Bridgehampton School, police say.
BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY —An East Hampton man was charged with speeding while intoxicated near the Bridgehampton School, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place early Tuesday when officers saw a man speeding near the school. Manuel Quezada, 46, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, prior conviction, a felony; speeding, failure to notify DMV of an address change; and drinking alcohol in a vehicle on a highway, police said.
He was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters where he was processed and held overnight for arraignment, police said.
