'Erratic' Motorist Charged With DWI In Sag Harbor: Police
He was arrested Wednesday, police say.
SAG HARBOR, NY — A Sag Harbor man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor Wednesday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, at 3:21 p.m., a 911 call came in about an "erratic motorist" heading east on Noyac Road in the area of Millstone Road in a silver Mercedes Benz with New York license plates.
The vehicle was located near Cromer's Market and William Schmitz, 48, was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor, police said.

He was taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters in Hampton Bays for processing and was held to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court at morning arraignment, police said.
