Held in honor of Christopher Lesta, who was born with Hunter Syndrome and passed away in 2007, the 5K will benefit the children and families on the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit at Duke University Medical Center, where Christopher underwent an Umbilical Cord Blood Transplant in 2005. Registration begins at 8 a.m. A $100 award will be given out for top male and female finisher and trophies will be given out in each age group.
