
Chef Emeril Lagasse will be honored at the annual Chefs & Champagne dinner, the James Beard Foundation's annual summer tasting party. More than 30 chefs will offer samples of their food. Local chefs include James Carpenter from The Living Room in East Hampton, Guy Reuge of Mirabelle in Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, and Marcus Samuelsson from The Blue Parrot in East Hampton and the Red Rooster in Harlem, who is a James Beard award winner. There will be a VIP entrance from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., but general admission is from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
