"I would gladly pay back anyone that can help us as well. It will take time. But I am sure between my siblings . . . we can make this happen," he said.

Guldi was the brother of former Suffolk County Legislator George Guldi, who is currently serving time in jail after being found guilty in 2011 of insurance fraud and second degree grand larceny.

His father, Greg Guldi Jr. said, spent a lifetime helping others and now, his family needs help and are faced with a home in foreclosure after being left with a great deal of debt. "He helped tons of people in the town, lent out tons of money and never got paid back," he said. "He needed his brother's help — but he was in jail."
