EAST QUOGUE, NY — A fire ripped through a store in East Quogue Wednesday, officials said.
According to East Quogue Fire Department Capt. Ted Janowski, the fire broke out at 3:46 p.m. at 585 Montauk Highway and was knocked down in less than 10 minutes.
"There was definitely damage but it was contained to one building," Janowski said.

Janowski said everyone was out of the building by the time first responders arrived on the scene; no injuries were reported, he said.
