Firefighters Respond To 'Haze Of Smoke' In Basement At Southampton CVS
Crews were at the scene Thursday morning to determine the origin of the fire, officials say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The Southampton Fire Department responded to an automatic fire alarm at CVS on Main Street in Southampton Village Thursday morning, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the SFD, the alarm came in at 10:49 a.m. The first unit at the scene reported a haze of smoke in the basement, Brenner said.
"Crews are on the scene to determine the origin of the fire," Brenner said.
