Flanders Fire Department Celebrates 70 Years With Parade

FLANDERS, NY — The Flanders Fire Department will celebrate 70 years of service Saturday with a parade.
The parade kicks off Saturday at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Rd., with a party to follow at the Flanders Men's Club, located at 1020 Flanders Rd. The event will include free hot dogs, soda, music, games, face painting for kids and a 50/50 raffle. A cash bar will also be available.
Flanders Rd. will be closed Saturday to all traffic between Evergreen Rd. and Firehouse Lane from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
