Fundraiser Ongoing To Help Fight Ticks On East End
If you've ever called the tick help-line at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, here's how you can help the program, which depends on support.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A fundraiser is ongoing in the battle against ticks on the East End.
According to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, through December 31, the Island Outreach Foundation has offered to match all funds raised up to $25,000 to benefit the hospital's Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center.
"Our Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center is entirely dependent on grants and gifts to operate. If you are one of the hundreds of people who called our popular 'help line' for advice, or requested a free tick removal kit, we hope you will consider making a tax-deductible donation so that we may continue to grow and expand our services in 2023," the hospital said.
