Habits 365 - A Vision - A Reality - An Amazing Story
The story of a grandson who at 15 years old was aiming high but with a great message and business plan.

His name is Eli Zied. He is a young, seventeen-year-old soon to be a senior at Birch Wathen Lenox, in NYC . His story came to my attention via his grandfather, Ron Sickmen, at a Bay Street Theater play opening night. It is a story about what makes this country wonderful, with opportunity available no matter what age, to launch ideas and to make things happen for one’s self.
At the after-party Mr. Sickmen said his grandson started a clothing brand at age 15.Ron said it is called “Habits 365.” I was fascinated and asked for some details. Sure enough young Eli Zied provided me with his vision, plans and a few insights about “Habits 365.” It’s really a fascinating example of what is possible in America.
Eli Zied says, “Since I was young, I had always wanted to start a brand. I wanted to start a brand that was easily relatable to everyone. So I thought of Habits. Everybody has habits, but not all are good ones, so my brand enforces positivity and good habits years round.”

The young man has a pure “Madison Ave” understanding of presenting a brand concept as illustrated as he continued, “We have daily reminders on our Instagram about good habits, and once a week we post a famous person’s good habit. Great habits lead to success and winning in life. Your habits lead you; they are what make you.”
That’s such a defining statement about Eli Zied. It shows a focus on a method to achieve success not only with his brand, but with his life so still very much in front of him.

Eli proudly boast’s that his Instagram has 70,000 followers and has “been able to get 40 influencers across the industry of sports,” (such as the NBA and NFL) and he stated he also has influencers from the industries of “comedy and music.”
Eli Zied starts by thinking big. He states, “Our goal is to become one of the biggest brands in the world.” He believes that this goal can be achievable because, “We feel as if our message portrays something that people can look at as inspiration. Everybody can be there best selves if they have the right habits.” He continued by wisely saying, “Habits dictate everything in your life, and by wearing habits, it sets a daily reminder to display great habits.”
He then added that “we” want everybody to be wearing “Habits” clothing because as he put it precisely, “… because people may not be aware, everyday life, is built around habits. Ultimately we want to inspire people to become their best selves and build the best habits they can.”
