Hamptons Home Burglarized, Search On For Thieves: Cops

A Breguet Marine 5071 watch — the watches are valued at thousands of dollars — was one of the items stolen, police say.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A watch worth thousands of dollars was one of the items stolen in the December burglary of a Bridgehampton home, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and find whoever burglarized a home on Ocean Road at 5:15 p.m. on December 8 and stole various items, including the Breguet Marine 5071 watch pictured, police said.

The person whose watch was stolen is offering a reward of $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com.
