'Howl-iday' Pet Food Drive Benefits Hamptons Shelter
"This year more than ever our local animal shelter needs help feeding all our furry friends."

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — With finances a struggle for many this holiday season, the Southampton Town Police Department and local schools are joining forces to feed hungry shelter pets.
"This year more than ever, our local animal shelter needs help feeding all our furry friends," Southampton police said.
Needed most are unopened bags of dried or canned food for puppies, dogs, kittens and cats, as well as treats.

"And to keep our furry friends warm and clean blankets or towels are also welcomed," police said.
The "Howl-iday Pet Food Drive" takes place from Nov. 14 to December 12. Donations can be dropped off at local schools or in the lobby of the Southampton Town Police Department, located at 110 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
