Intoxicated Man Smashes Windshield With 4 X 4: Police

FLANDERS, NY — A Flanders man was arrested after he smashed someone's windshield with a 4 x 4 Sunday, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, a 911 call came in at 12:19 a.m. about an intoxicated man intentionally breaking the windshield.

Ipolito U. Ruiz-Ramos, 27, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, police said. He was held overnight and brought to arraignment at Southampton Justice Court on Feb. 17, where he was release, police added.
