Large House Fire Breaks Out In Southampton: Officials

Firefighters rushed to the scene Wednesday night.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A "large" house fire broke out Wednesday night in Southampton, officials said.

According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, the fire was reported just after 8 p.m. in a home on Lewis Street, off Rogers Avenue, in Southampton.

The Southampton Fire Department called the Hampton Bays Fire Department to assist, officials said.
