About the show, Laura Grenning explained, "Nelson White is a very important American plein air painter whose roots go back three generations on the East End. This is his first solo show in 7 years and we (Grenning Gallery) are thrilled to have such amazing work in the gallery this month."

The show is especially fitting, as the gallery celebrates its 20th year, she said. "He taught me how to paint when I first moved here in 1995," she said.

I recommend you plan a visit to see these smartly priced paintings by Nelson H. White, many of which are of familiar East End locations that I found dazzling, thrilling and quite frankly, hard to take my eyes off. I plan on going back. Laura Grenning is well known for presenting not only top shelf artists, but presenting their works with her unique panache.
