LI Woman Charged More Than $5K On Someone Else's Credit Card: PD
She charged Uber trips, Uber Eats deliveries and more, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY —A Coram woman was arrested Tuesday after she charged more than $5,000 on a Southampton resident's credit card, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, a call came in on December 17 from a woman reporting unauthorized credit card transactions dating back to November, 2022.
The woman said that there were multiple charges to her credit card for Uber trips, Uber Eats, Uber liquor/wine and Apple.com totaling $5174.77, police said.

Detectives investigated and on Tuesday, Allison Galaris, 51, was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, police said. She was arraigned in Southampton Town Justice
Court, police said.
