Man With 2 Kids Steals Pricey Statue From Southampton Shop: Cops

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A man walked out of a Southampton shop in broad daylight after swiping a pricey statue, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Village Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who stole the statue in Southampton Village last month, police said.
A man with two children entered Cabana, located at 53 Jobs Lane, on July 22 at approximately 6 p.m. and stole a Kaws Companion statute worth approximately $5,000, police said. The man is described as white with a thin build and dark hair.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
