Man Arrested After Sexually Abusing Female Child: Southampton PD

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Mastic man was arrested and charged after he sexually abused a juvenile female for seven months in 2020, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, on Sunday, Southampton Town police detectives received report that the girl had been abused by an adult male acquaintance, police said.

During the investigation it was learned that she was subjected to sexual abuse from April, 2020 through November, 2020, police said.

Edwin Josue Ordones-Ramos, 21, was charged arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony, police said.

Ordones-Ramos was arrested at Southampton Town police headquarters, processed, and held overnight for morning arraignment, police said.
