Man Caught Snorting Crushed Pill In Fast Food Parking Lot: Cops

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — An Islip man was caught snorting a crushed pill in a McDonald's parking lot early one morning, police said.

According to Southampton Village Police, on March 13 at 8:36 a.m., Volkan Ucar, 32, was arrested in the McDonald's parking lot on North Sea Road and charged with three counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Officers observed Ucar crushing a tablet and then snorting it while sitting in a vehicle; upon further investigation, authorities found Ucar to be in possession of a quantity of Adderall, Alprazolam, and Oxycodone, all of which he provided no prescription for, police said.
