Man Charged With Arson In Hamptons: Cops
He was arrested after setting a number of trash bins on fire, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Northampton man was arrested after he set fire to several trash bins, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Joseph Nizza, 25, was arrested at 1 a.m. Friday after officers responded to reports of several plastic bins on fire in the Northampton community.
Responding Southampton Town patrol officers, New York State Police and a New York
State Police K9 unit canvassed the area and located Nizza, police said.

He was taken to police headquarters for questioning by Southampton Town detectives, arrested, and charged with four counts of fifth degree arson, a misdemeanor, stemming from the incident, as well as three additional incidents that occurred on April 26 in the same area, police said.
Nizza was held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
