Man Charged With Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance: Police
The man was stopped for crossing over hazard markings numerous times, police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Mastic man was arrested after a traffic stop on Old Riverhead Road recently, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Cory Brown, 33, was arrested March 1 and charged with two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and two counts of controlled substance in non-original container.
He was arrested after a traffic stop for crossing over the hazard markings numerous times on Old Riverhead Road, police said.

Brown was transported back to the New York State Troopers barracks in Riverside, processed without incident, and is due back in court on March 21, police said.
