Man Charged With Driving Drunk With Revoked License: Cops

He was pulled over in Southampton, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was cuffed after he was caught driving while intoxicated with a revoked license, police said.

According to Southampton Village Police, Narciso Ramires, 27, was arrested on Jan. 26 at 7:48 p.m. on Hampton Rd. and charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operations, a felony, and DWI, a misdemeanor.

Ramires, who was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry while traveling eastbound on Hampton Road, was stopped for multiple vehicle and traffic violations, police said.

A computer check revealed that Ramires' license had been suspended and revoked for two previous convictions for driving while ability impaired, police said.

He was processed and held for morning arraignment; the vehicle was seized as per the Suffolk County vehicle seizure law, police said.
