Man Charged With DWI After Backing Into Traffic Circle: Police
He was arrested early Sunday in Riverside, police say.
RIVERSIDE, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Riverside early Sunday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, at 12:28 a.m., Luis Salgranados, 34, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI after he was seen backing unsafely into the traffic circle.
Salgranados was stopped on County Route 104 by police; during the investigation it was found that Salgranados was intoxicated, police said. Salgranados was arrested, transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
