Man Charged With DWI After Partially Blocking Roadway In Southampton: Police
He was arrested Sunday afternoon, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A North Sea man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he was found idling and partially blocking the roadway near Magee Street Sunday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place at 2:59 p.m. Upon investigation, a Southampton Town police officer said that the driver, 27, was found to be operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated, police said.
He was arrested and transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing, police said.

He was charged with misdemeanor DWI and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, as well as several traffic infractions, police said.
He was processed and held for a morning arraignment, police said.
