Man Charged With DWI After Speeding On County Road 39: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested and charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated with a suspended license on County Road 39 in Southampton, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 11:16 p.m. near Tuckahoe Lane. Robert M. Cueva-Calle, 28, was seen speeding and failing to maintain his lane while heading east, police said. He was stopped, arrested, and charged with misdemeanor DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and traffic violations, police said.

Cueva-Calle was held for morning arraignment, police said.
