Man Charged With Felony After Damaging Vehicle In Riverside: Police

RIVERSIDE, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested after damaging a motor vehicle in Riverside Saturday night, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place at about 10:40 PM on Flanders Road near Enterprise Zone Drive. An investigation revealed that Ryan J. Zukowski, 22, damaged the vehicle and left the scene, but turned himself in at Southampton Town police headquarters a short while later, police said.

He was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, police said. Zukowski was processed and held for arraignment at Southampton Justice Court, police said.
