18-Year-Old Dies After Electrocution In East Quogue: Police
He hit wires and was electrocuted when leaving his truck, police say.
EAST QUOGUE, NY — An 18-year-old died after he was electrocuted in East Quogue Wednesday, police said.
Police identified the driver who died as Luigi T. Cicillini of Selden.
According to Southampton Town Police, a call came in at 3:10 p.m. that the man had been electrocuted on Lewis Road. A dump truck driver hit electrical wires and was electrocuted while getting out of his vehicle, police said. He was taken to an area hospital and his condition was not immediately known, police said.

Southampton Town and Quogue Village Police Officers responded and helped the man until East Quogue Volunteer Ambulance arrived. The East Quogue Fire Department also responded.
Southampton Town Police detectives and fire marshals are investigating; Suffolk County Motor Carrier was requested for additional help, police said.
