Man Faces Felony Charge After Being Caught With Cocaine: Police

He was also found drinking from an open container behind a Flanders 7-Eleven, police say.

FLANDERS, NY — A man was arrested after he was found drinking behind a 7-Eleven and in possession of cocaine early Saturday, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, Cesar D. Mutzutz-Tomas, 21, of Flanders, was seen drinking from an open can of alcohol behind the 7-Eleven on Flanders Road by a community response unit officer on patrol.

Mutzutz-Tomas was arrested at 12:28 a.m. and charged with open alcoholic beverage, a misdemeanor; he was also found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and charged
with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, police said. He was transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing and held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
