Man Found Dead in Car at Sag Harbor Park

A Sag Harbor man was found dead in his car at Mashashimuet Park on Saturday afternoon, according to Sag Harbor Village Police.

Police responded to the parking lot of the park on Main Street at 2:02 p.m. on a report of an unconscious man in a car, police said.

Upon police arrival, the man, identified as Matthew Berkoski, 40, was found to be dead, according to police.

The cause of death is still under investigation, but police believe there was no foul play.
