Man Found Intoxicated And Asleep In Running Vehicle Outside Motel: PD

RIVERSIDE, NY — A man was arrested after he was found intoxicated and sleeping inside his running vehicle outside of a Riverside motel early Sunday, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, Cristian Alvarez-Moncada, 24, was arrested at 3:40 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. He was seen asleep behind the wheel while blocking the parking lot entrance of the Budget Host Inn on Lave Ave., police said.

He was determined to be intoxicated, arrested, and held to appear at Southampton Town justice court at morning arraignment, police said.
