LI Man Sexually Abused Child Under Age Of 11: Police
The abuse went on from 2014 to 2019 in both Flanders and Calverton, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Calverton man was arrested after sexually abusing a child under the age of 11 for five years, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, on October 14, detectives began an investigation into the possible sexual abuse of a minor that occurred between October 2014 and April 2019. The child was under the age of 11 when the abuse occurred, police said.
During the course of the investigation it was learned the abuse happened at a residence in Calverton as well as at a residence in Flanders, police said.

Edwin Choy Camey, 38, of Calverton, was arrested and charged with course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, police said.
Choy Camey was arrested at Southampton Town police headquarters, where he was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
