Michael Lohan Arrested In Southampton: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Michael Lohan, father of actress Lindsay Lohan, was arrested after what authorities said was a domestic incident in Southampton. Lohan, 59, was arrested on Main Street Monday at 4:40 p.m. and charged with "criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation," a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation, according to Southampton Village police.

Police said Lohan was "verbally and physically abusive" to another individual at a Hampton Road residence.

While in custody, Lohan complained of chest pains and was transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital at 5:35 p.m. by Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance, police said.

Lohan was released Tuesday and arraigned at Southampton Village Justice Court, police said.
