Motorists Should Expect Delays During Bridgehampton Half Marathon

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — Police have issued a traffic advisory for motorists during the Bridgehampton Half Marathon.

The event takes place Saturday between 8 a.m. and noon. The run will start at 9 a.m. on Ocean Road in Bridgehampton and proceed throughout the roads of Sagaponack and Bridgehampton, ending back on Ocean Road.

A large number of people are expected to attend and traffic delays should be anticipated, especially on Ocean and Bridge Lane, police said.

"Motorists are urged not to drive in these areas during this time, but if you must do so, please use caution," police said.
