SAG HARBOR, NY — A new restaurant in Sag Harbor signals a deeply meaningful homecoming for Michael Nolan, whose roots span three generations on the storied canvas.

This spring, lifelong local Nolan will open an establishment in the village that raised him with Miracle, "a refined new restaurant on Main Street committed to serving the East End’s year rounders and visitors alike," representatives said.

After co-founding culinary destinations including Miracle Bar and Grill in New York City and Fresno Restaurant in East Hampton, Nolan’s latest venture is especially meaningful, he said.

Located in the former Vin Sur Vingt space at 29 Main Street in Sag Harbor, Nolan believes Miracle will reflect his deep roots in his birthplace while showcasing his evolution as a restaurateur.

“Opening in Sag Harbor isn’t just operating another restaurant—it’s coming home, literally. This community shaped who I am. I’m thrilled as a Sag Harbor Village native to join a vibrant community of long-standing establishments," he said.

The restaurant will "present a polished interpretation blending modern American cuisine and thoughtful innovation," representatives said.

The menu is crafted by chef Jesus Gonzales, the talent behind Fresno Restaurant, and features a curated selection of elevated classics executed using seasonal stand outs.

The design of Miracle is led by Helen Gifford of HelenBilt, Nolan’s partner in life and in the new venture.

"Drawing from her London background and signature design sensibility, Gifford is leaning into intimate, layered spaces that prioritize elevated comfort. Inspired by the welcoming spirit of traditional English pub culture, interiors will emphasize authenticity and connection over spectacle, positioning the restaurant as a philosophy of hospitality, rather than a performative dining experience," representatives added.

"This project is deeply personal. Miracle is a shared vision of community, beauty, and belonging. My team are all incredible local artisans whose opinions and ideas bring energy to our objective. Creating a space that feels enveloping and welcoming through the lighting and design, can be a means whereby people feel as held by the environment as much as the culinary hospitality," she said.

Miracle is slated to open in early May and will be open year-round for lunch and dinner.
