SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A new, hidden, "slime" ice cream parlor opened in Southampton over Memorial Day weekend, sure to delight pint-sized patrons.

ColorPop Workshop, a "design forward art studio" for children ages 2 to 12, opened the ColorPop Slime Shop, "an interactive slime ice cream parlor tucked behind its Southampton flagship at 67 Jobs Lane," representatives said.

There's no sign out front. To find the spot, families enter through a separate back entrance, "a small deliberate detail that turns a visit into a discovery," representatives said.

Inside, the room has been transformed into a miniature ice cream shop, scaled and styled for kids, where every scoop on offer is slime.

Open Memorial Day through Labor Day, ColorPop Slime Shop runs like a real creamery.

Kids step up to the counter, order from a rotating weekly lineup of slime "flavors" inspired by strawberry, vanilla, mint chip, and seasonal swirls, then choose from a rotating spread of mix-ins, including faux gummy bears, sprinkles, gummy worms, chocolate chips, glitter, charms, cherries, syrup drizzles, whipped clay rosettes, and more.

The shop scoops each creation to order, layering slime into waffle cones and sundae glasses.

Every order is non-edible, take-home, and unique. With the menu changing week to week, no two visits are the same.

"ColorPop has always been about building spaces where kids feel like the main character," said Tiffany Rafii, co-founder of ColorPop Workshop. "The Slime Shop leans into that. It looks like a real ice cream parlor, it runs like a real ice cream parlor — and we hope it helps add to the magic that is summer in the Hamptons."

ColorPop Workshop has locations on the Upper East Side, Southampton, and Westhampton Beach, where they are sited at 3 Sunset Avenue.
