SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Flanders, Riverside and Northampton could soon have a zip code to call their own.

Congressman Lee Zeldin will host a roundtable with Congressman Jason Chaffetz, Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and a small group of community leaders invited from the hamlets, regarding proposed legislation to create a new zip code for Flanders, Riverside, and Northampton.

According to Zeldin, in July, the Postal Service Reform Act of 2016, or H.R. 5714, was introduced in the House by Chairman Chaffetz and passed out of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
