Panel Discussion On Water Quality Planned In Southampton

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A panel discussion on water quality, one of the most pressing issues for East End residents, has been scheduled for Southampton.

The League of Conservation Voters and the Village of Southampton have teamed up to organize the discussion, which will take place Thursday, Nov. 17, from 5 p.m. to 7 pm. at the Southampton Arts Center, located at 23 Jobs House Lane in Southampton.

"The audience will hear from experts on the importance of protecting our valuable water resources, what can be done to continue this work, and how this effort will impact generations of Long Islanders," organizers said.

The event is also being planned with Roux Environmental Conservation and Management.
