Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck In Riverside: PD
The crash took place Tuesday, police say.
RIVERSIDE, NY — A pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle in Riverside Tuesday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the crash took place at 5:10 p.m.; a man, 40, was crossing Country Road 94 near the intersection of Country Road 51 and heading south when he was struck by the driver of a 2016 Ford Explorer, who was traveling east.
Flanders-Northampton Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded and transported the pedestrian to Peconic Bay Medical Center with serious physical injuries, police said.

Southampton Police detectives are investigating but do not anticipate any criminal charges, police said.
