Pet Food Pantry Set To Take Place In Hamptons

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — Even four-footed friends sometimes need a helping hand.

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will be hosting its Pet Food Pantry event on Saturday, May 21, from noon to 3 p.m. at Petco, located at Bridgehampton Commons, 2044 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton.

The event will take place in Bridgehampton while ARF's East Hampton Adoption Center is under construction.

ARF said what's needed most are unopened bags of cat and dog food, both wet and dry, and treats. Cat food is greatly needed, ARF added.

Also, a fundraiser, the 2022 ARF Designer Auction and preview cocktail party, will take place on Saturday, May 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop, located at 17 Poxabogue Lane in Sagaponack. The cocktail reception will celebrate the launch of ARF’s two-week online auction, to be held from May 28 to June 11, featuring furniture and decorative items for the home donated by the organization's friends and ARF adopters.

The items include "some of the most admired designers, artisans, and dealers in the country," ARF said.

All proceeds will benefit the cats and dogs at the ARF Adoption Center. Advance tickets cost $200; tickets at the door cost $225. For tickets and bidding, click here.
