The Parrish Art Museum hosted its 2nd annual Summer Family Party to benefit the museum’s activities on Sunday.
Almost 300 guests attended the event in Water Mill which featured informal workshops where children interacted with and learned from established, practicing artists.

Michael Combs, Alice Hope, Paton Miller, Dan Rizzie, Alexis Rockman, and John Torreano led art-making projects for children and adults to learn first-hand the techniques of painting, sculpture, field drawings, 3-D modeling, and more.
Attendees also enjoyed other activities included hip-hop dance lessons with A&G Dance Company, stop-motion animation stations with filmmakers from The Good School in New York, Jackson Pollock-inspired drip painting workshop with author/artist Joyce Raimondo, an art scavenger hunt, and the opportunity to create original, classic flip books.

Co-Chairs for the benefit included: Julie Falk and Marcia Dunn Sobel; Vice-Chairs are Meredith Cairns, Robin Lefcourt, Hallie Nath, Alexandra Oblak, Robin Perkins, and Alexandra Stanton; and Committee Members include Nina Edwards Anker, Deborah F. Bancroft, Cristina Greeven Cuomo, Andrea Greeven Douzet, Lauren Schor Geller, Lisa McCarthy, Satoko Miyake Nir, and Ellen Niven.
