Photos: 'A Sense Of Place' Delights At Southampton Arts Center

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A crowd turned out recently at a kickoff event for a new exhibit at the Southampton Arts Center.

The exhibit, "A Sense of Place," runs through April 9 in Southampton; an artist talk and gallery talk will take place on Sunday, March 26.

Featuring local artists Toni Ross, Bastienne Schmidt, Louise Eastman with Janis Stemmermann, Christopher French, Philippe Cheng and more, "A Sense of Place" aims to explore the relationships of the artists to their environments, according to a release.
