Pierson Announces 2017 Valedictorian, Salutatorian
Congratulations to two amazing young women!

SAG HARBOR, NY — Two of Sag Harbor's brightest young students will serve as Pierson High School's 2017 valedictorian and salutatorian.
Sag Harbor’s Eve Bishop and Ella Parker have earned the top spots in their class, respectively, through their impressive and outstanding commitment to academics, the district said in a release.
"Valedictorian Eve Bishop is a well-rounded scholar and has earned a number of accolades throughout her high school career. She received a National Merit Scholarship letter of commendation and earned outstanding achievement awards in biology, English literature and mathematics. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Quiz Bowl Team, Math League and the Pierson Press. Additionally, she plays the oboe and is an accomplished photographer, having her photos published in Newsday and exhibited at Guild Hall and the Parrish Art Museum. Bishop will be attending Pomona College in the fall," the release said.
